Yacht Ufo Alien

Did this Yacht concept come from an Alien World...?

Typically when thinking of yachts we picture giant, lavish boats with a hired crew ready to wait on us hand and foot. However, this yacht concept designed by Hyun-Seok Kim reminds me more of a houseboat from some distant, Alien world.
Named Tofi, Kim’s design won the 2011 "Dreamboat" Millennium Yacht Design Award and rightfully so. Its futuristic lines and overall space worthy shape were inspired by all the fun family and friends can have at sea. It features a hideaway diving board on the top section so you can relive your high school dive team days under that hot Caribbean sun, and safety buoys that deploy out the back so the little ones have a place to swim.
Obviously, this is just concept artwork for now, but this would be the coolest house boat in the marina without a doubt. The back end reminds me of a wooden raft you would see in font of a lake house with plenty of room for lounge chairs or a picnic table for your seafaring party. There are rooms for you and your guests and this thing even sports a salon! However, there is one thing missing when we look through the designs -- where’s the engine!? It’s an awesome water ride for sure, but I would imagine that vacation would be a little short without any propulsion.
Anyway, we’ve got a bunch of images for you to drool over, but if you want to see all of them I suggest you head over to Yanko Design and take a gander. They’ve got full breakdowns of this futuristic yacht describing each and every aspect of its build. Enjoy!
