Kinda sorta totally digging the crazy alien hair that Wella Global Creative Director Eugene Souleiman created at Issey Miyake. "I wanted a triangle shape, reminiscent of the shape of the open lid of a grand piano, which was no coincidence as the show music was provided by three grand pianos, placed at the entrance of the catwalk. Then, to emphasise the straight line and the triangular shape, I used the show invitation as a template to paint on a series of white triangles to the side of the head, fading up towards the ponytail," said Souleiman. "The line was also the starting point for the second look, where my challenge was to create a straight line from the circular shape of the head, and this was achieved by creating a cone shaped structure to the hair and pulling back to a high ponytail. Viewed from the side, this created a straight line from the hair line to the ponytail, and had an almost alien feeling to it."
